Job Description
Reporting to a Strategic Account Manager, the Associate Account Executive will be responsible for assisting overall account servicing. Key responsibilities include assisting the account team, consumer contact management, logistical program management, administrative duties, and daily maintenance of social media sites pertaining to the client’s needs.
Assisting Account Team
- Take responsibility for tasks to ensure executional excellence.
- Bring any problems or account issues to the team immediately for quick problem solving.
Client Management
- Minimal contact with clients in early stages.
- Familiarize and stay current with clients’ business and industry trends.
Program Management (logistical)
- Manage necessary program elements to make sure we deliver an exceptional product and/or service
- Assist team to ensure master timelines and production schedules are met.
- Social Media
- Daily maintenance of client’s social media sites:
- Status update and tweet copy writing
- Status update and tweet scheduling and posting
- Facebook wall monitoring and consumer interaction
- Twitter account monitoring and consumer interaction
- Weekly reporting on all social media activities
- Management of additional social media tasks as they arise
- Creative & Technical
- Assist with internal review when appropriate
- Other Resources
- Assist with internal review and provide feedback on brief
Administrative Supervision
- Ensure client programs are executed with excellence and client folders are properly maintained
- Administrative account tasks
- Job folders, job numbers, P.O. Boxes, state registrations, mail collection, sorting and counting
- Consumer contact
- Winner selection and notification, verification, prize procurement and fulfillment, 1099, phone, email contact
Qualifications/Experience/Skills Required:
- Minimum one year work experience with direct hands on marketing experience.
- Must be self-motivated, articulate and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with co-workers, clients and vendors at all levels within the organizations.
- Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking and time management skills and must be a good decision maker.
- Flexible, results-oriented team player.
- Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience.
- Fully accountable for all responsibilities of the job.
- Work hours as needed.
